Having diabetes does not mean you won't be able to have a healthy and successful pregnancy.  On the contrary, with the right tools, careful planning, and support, you will be able to have a successful pregnancy.

My goal is to give you practical and easy-to-follow advice on how to successfully manage diabetes during the 9 months of pregnancy. You will get individualized solutions to the unique challenges that arise during pregnancy with diabetes.

I've lived through 2 healthy and successful pregnancies with diabetes, I'm here to help you.

  • Preconception goals and planning- Getting your ready for what's ahead. Learn about important tests to get done, blood glucose targets, and visits to have. 
     

  • Review carb counting skills, and discuss in detail essential nutrients to include- Get recipes and meal plans to help you along the way.

  • Learn about the "Golden Rules of Diabetes" simple strategies to avoid blood glucose spikes

  • Evaluate insulin pump and sensors-Discuss pros and cons, settings, and advanced tools to maximize technology to work for you​

  • What to expect in each trimester of pregnancy as it relates to diabetes- You will understand detail what will happen in each trimester to get your prepared for what's ahead.

  • Delivery plan and post-partum- Learn about your delivery options and get you ready for when the baby comes home.

OUR PACKAGE DEALS

getting ready

  • Pre-planning is the most important thing you can do for a successful pregnancy. This plan is meant for women thinking about getting pregnant, but who don't know where to start.  By the end, you will get your blood glucose in target and know what to expect during each trimester of pregnancy. 

  • 3 virtual visits (1 initial + 2 follow-ups) Initial visits are 60 minutes, follow-ups are 30-45min. â€‹

  • Create a pre-conception education plan to discuss key pregnancy topics in each session: blood glucose targets pre and post-pregnancy, medications to avoid, pregnancy team, managing complications, carb counting review, and more.

  • Evaluate BG logs, insulin pump settings and CGM and fine-tune doses to achieve recommended targets pre-pregnancy and through pregnancy

  • Evaluate pump transition and or use of sensor prior to pregnancy.

  • Feel ready and confident to start the best journey of your life! 

Baby on board

  • This plan gives you individual support with specific guidance and recommendations based on your needs.​

  • 3 virtual visits (1 initial + 2 follow up). Initial visits last 60min and follow-ups 45min. Follow up's can be programmed at any time interval. 

  • Discuss individual goals based on your needs and establish an action plan with custom recommendations. Meal plans, snack ideas, recipes, and more are included.

  • Create an individualized education plan discussing key diabetes areas: foods that impact Blood glucose, when to check, meal timing and snacks, what to do if high BG, and more. 

  • Review BG logs, insulin pump, and CGMat each visit and fine-tune.

Always by my side

  • Monthly scheduled visits to ensure you get the support and guidance you need until your baby is born. 

  • One Initial visit (60min) afterward, 4 monthly follow-ups (45min), and biweekly check-ins where we discuss progress review blood glucose, important nutrients for each trimester, and target areas to improve. 

  • Weekly check-ins for via email to review BG logs and discuss if changes need to be made.

  • Discuss individual goals based on your needs and establish an action plan with custom recommendations. Meal plans, snack ideas, recipes, and more are included.

  • Create an individualized education plan discussing key diabetes areas: foods that impact blood glucose, when to check, meal timing and snacks, what to do if high BG, and more.

  • Get all your questions answered, unlimited access to emails, and support.
